A Brief Summary

I know that I am not the only person who finds politicians infuriating so this is my route to changing the system. I have taken an interest in politics for many years and often I wish I could just forget about it. I decided that rather than doing that, I would develop a new political party. The name comes from the fact that the party is based on the views of one person but can expand through the internet to become a major political party. I feel the time is right for a complete change in the type of people who become politicians and I want to attract a mixture of people to form a party capable of running the country better than the current breed of politicians. I am looking for people who are specialists in certain fields, who could do a better job than the current group of Ministers, and people who feel they could represent their constituencies as MPs. Additionally of course I need publicity and in turn support from the general public.

Most politicians would dismiss the idea that a new political party could arise from nowhere but if everyone takes that attitude we will be stuck with Labour or Conservative Governments for the rest of time. Personally I cannot let that happen without trying my utmost to get rid of the current breed of ever so righteous politicians. Despite their efforts to convince us they are serving the community, the majority are dishonest, lacking in integrity and ignorant. They also appear to have been living on another planet where a grasp of reality was not necessary. All I ask is for people to try something new and read this site and if you agree with some of it look out for The Momentum Party in the future. For the party to succeed it needs general awareness to be created and that is what I seek from anyone interested in the ideas on this site. Tell your friends, family or colleagues and try and create a genuine alternative political party.
